What do you do in the class?
We do a range of cardio, strengthening, toning and stretching. All our exercises are based on Pilates, so we focus on pelvic floor, deep abdominal muscles and posture. Each exercise can be progressed or regressed to make sure that everyone gets what they want out of the class.

At what point in my pregnancy should I start?
The earlier the better! That way we can focus on making sure your key muscles are strong as your body changes. However, it's never too late to start!

How soon after my baby is born can I exercise?
You should begin pelvic floor exercises and deep abdominal activation within the first 24 hours. Basic core strengthening can begin on the second or third day and specific postnatal exercises 1-2 weeks later. Exercise back in the water may resume 6 weeks postnatally or when clearance is given by either myself or your doctor/midwife.

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in! Some girls wear bikinis, others full-piece or singlet and bikini bottoms, and some wear t-shirt and shorts.
